Clean the Frame First: Yes, it’s construction, but tape needs a surface to grab. A quick wipe with a dry cloth over the window frame removes the microscopic dust layer that kills adhesion.
Don't Over-Stretch: While the PE backing is tough, pulling it as tight as a guitar string creates tension. When the temperature drops at night, the tape can shrink and pull away from the corners. Lay it down firmly, but don't stretch it to its limit.
Mind the UV Clock: If you buy a 7-day tape, don't leave it on for 10 days in the blazing July sun. Buy the tape that matches your project timeline.
